The first cross country competition took place today at Northwestern Medicine Field in Geneva. The top 20 finishers got medals; Jack came in 13th with a time of 17:11.0, and by the look on his face, I'm thinking he's quite proud of himself! This is a super tough course that goes 2.97 miles up, down and around a mountain... I actually got winded just walking up to view the race.
