Illinois' Newest Driver: August 10

It's official! Jack can legally drive by himself!!  We had quite an adventure getting it since the DMV is open by appointment only and all the appointments seemed to fill up early in the morning. I lucked out by logging in at just the right time.  Whew!

This happened just in the nick of time... school starts in less than a week and I really need him to drive himself and Jason to school and from practice; the daily to and from school twice a day was really difficult sometimes! And considering the price of gas nowadays, this is a welcome development even if I'll incur some serious worry. It just got real -- he's growing up.
