New England Trip: July 16. Boston

I've always wanted to do a tour of New England, and we were long overdue for a family vacation since we had stayed put for Spring Break this year due to commitments with EYSO and track season. Despite my requests to look up things to do and places to visit, we left Illinois without any real plans and no reservations.  Somehow, it all worked out just fine!  We spent day one in Boston, mainly walking around Boston Common and dining at a divey looking but totally delicious Mexican restaurant just off the public garden.
