Today is the first day of school. Jack is 17 and heading into his senior year, Jason is 14 and a sophomore. Both are taking five AP classes this fall, plus Jack is taking a dual credit class (Calculus with Analytical Geometry which is a college class taught on the high school grounds), and Jason had an honors American literature class. And, I should add, both boys opted (for the second year in a row) to take summer school classes to get ahead -- Jason took pre-calculus and Jack took introduction to culinary science.
They are exceeding all expectations and I'm thrilled that they keep pushing themselves and growing academically! Here's to a successful school year!!
