Wait, What Happened to June?

No posts for over a month?!  Okay, so we've been a little busy.  The kids finished school on May 30, and since then we:

  • Finished the 2017 spring soccer season:
Jack's team went undefeated!  He also played up in the U-14 division spring tournament; his team took 2nd.

Jason's team was winless, but he developed his skills and is willing to give it another shot in the fall...  on another team.
  • Attended the boys' first professional soccer game:
Hungarian Heritage Night.  The Chicago Fire won 2-0 and is still undefeated at the time of this post.
  • Invented Trash Basketball:
Jack, creator of numerous field and board games, at it again.  An assortment of soccer and basket balls are used to get various objects past a line to accumulate points based on the object's size.  Oddly thrilling.
Jason was content to blow bubbles and apparently grow his legs longer in the process.
  • Went to Great America:
The boys had no reservations about trying the newest ride, The Joker.  I was nauseated watching them on it.
Oh yes, that was a good one!
  • Attended Emily & George's wedding and reception:
    My little tribe
  • Packed food at Feed My Starving Children, with Grandma Rose:
This was our 11th visit to FMSC

I think we wore Grandma out

We've been busy!
