Road Trip, Day Four: Illinois

Wednesday was our day at Shawnee National Forest near Harrisburg, IL.  The location is truly remote and at times we were the only people in sight, which was a little scary considering I was on my own with the boys.  I was not a fan of the gravel roads and seeming like we were the only humans alive, but I had to keep going!  The scenery was truly amazing and I am so, so glad we went; the kids were too!  The pictures speak for themselves:
