We left Illinois last Sunday for a five-state road trip. Since Dennis couldn't join us, I didn't want to go anywhere that involved too much driving and ended up with a plan that took us to Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana over the course of one week. The boys wanted to make use of our season passes to Six Flags and our annual science/tech museum membership. So, we did both, without having to drive more than four hours at any stretch.
On the way to St Louis, we stopped in Springfield, IL at the Lincoln Museum. I had heard it was pretty cool, and it lived up to those promises. The exhibits were really neat and we all learned a lot.

| Lincoln Logs, of course! |
We ended up in St Louis Sunday night and were psyched to find out that our campground was literally one mile from Six Flags, so we went there for a couple hours and checked out the roller coasters.
