School starts early in Illinois! Today is the boys' first day of the 2016/17 school year. Jason's going into 4th grade, and Jack's heading into 6th grade, his 9th and final year at Otter Creek Elementary (he went there for two full years of preschool too -- see post from 9/13/2008). Both kids were really excited to go back to school, and each got the teacher he hoped for. Hopefully it'll be a great year and a productive one for both of them!
