Saturday was such a gorgeous day ... temps in the 80s, blue skies with big fluffy clouds. Lynn came to visit and we got Kevin, Pam, Abby, and Ryleigh to join us for a trip to Kuiper's Family Farm in Maple Park. We had never been there before but we are glad we gave it a shot. There was lots of stuff for the kids to do. Here are the kids at the entrance to the farm. It sure is difficult to get them all looking at the camera at the same time...

The first thing we saw was a mountain of huge tires filled with sand. What a neat idea -- except that the tires left the kids' hands black. Good thing we have a baby with us, that ensured that there were plenty of wipes for cleaning up. There were a couple of mazes, sand boxes filled with dried corn, a haunted forest, petting zoo, a miniature tractor course, several play areas, and a pumpkin washing station, which was a huge hit with all the kids. I think it's safe to say we all had a good time.
Check out Farmer Jack and Abby -- does she pose like a model or what?

Jason had a blast by a pumpkin patch. He carefully inspected all of them. What a cutie pie!
