On Saturday, we visited my cousin Scott at his fire station which is located at the airport. We had visited him at his previous stations in Tampa, and he wanted to show the boys his newest assignment.

So, I just HAD to see some manatees on this trip.. I remember them from growing up in Florida, seeing them in canals and knowing their trusting and kind nature... I wanted to share that with my boys. Scott suggested we head up to Homosassa Springs, which was on the way to my mom's house.
