A Little Boy and His Doggy

Sadie has most definitely become Jason's dog. She snuggles up next to him when he goes to bed every night. They go through a little ritual with him cleaning her "eye crumbs", stroking her ear, giving her kisses, and rubbing noses. She basically stays there until he falls asleep then books on out of the boys' room and comes into mine. 

Last night she didn't get to make her normal quick break...Jason was onto her shenanigans and held on tight. It only takes him about 90 seconds of inactivity to drop off to dreamyland but he really had a hold on her, so she ended up getting stuck for the better part of an hour. I'm not sure how she eventually managed to escape his clutches, but she did it without waking him up, which is always good. It seems to me in the picture below that she is awake and plotting her escape:
