Our little Jack-Jack turned 7 on March 9. Wow. We celebrated his day by going to dinner at IHOP (his choice) followed by a special Transformers cake, which we were lucky to get as this was the very last Transformers set they had...guess it was meant to be. Of course, he ended up getting a lot of Transformers toys too. Jack's Uncle Kevin, Aunt Pam, and cousins Ryleigh and Abby came by to help celebrate.
Then, yesterday we had his 'friend party' at...McDonald's. What a surprise! (not). Three years in a row, but hey, it was his choice and they do such a great job. So here is something we will probably never see again, Jack in a short sleeve shirt and shorts for his birthday party. We are having some sort of freakish warm weather, which has been awesome! And yes, his hair is totally sweaty from running around Playland with his friends before the party started.
No, I do not dress my kids identically. Their Mama got these shirts for them, and the boys actually CHOSE to match each other. So I don't want to hear about it!
What's with this pose? I'm not sure, this is not a normal pose for Jack.What a ham.
Okay, so YOU try to get 14 kids to look toward you and smile at the same time...
After the party, we headed to the local playground with a couple other moms and kids and continued the party, just like we did last year, although this year's weather was way better. Still technically winter, mind you.
