Wisconsin Getaway

We took advantage of the three-day weekend and drove up north to Wisconsin for a stay at the Three Bears Lodge, an hour north of the Dells. The lodge has its own indoor waterpark, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The cool thing is, they are at the perfect age to enjoy both the little kid section and the older kid section, with its seriously steep and fast water slides. Even Jason, who just barely met the height requirement, went down each slide. Over and over.

Jack enjoys the rush of water as an overhead bucket full of water emptied out.
Looks like the goggles might need to be adjusted a bit...
I think he meant to give the park a thumbs-up, but I'll take the smile as indication that he had a good time. We spent Saturday and Sunday at the waterpark, and today we drove an hour south of the resort to spend the day at the Wisconsin Dells, where we went to Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum, a 4-D special effects movie, and Wizard Quest, which was super cool, but unfortunately, quite dark and we were in such a time crunch to get our quest done in the allotted 90 minutes, we neglected to take any pictures! Oh well, the boys had a good time and I got to actually sleep in until 7:30 Saturday AND Sunday, so it was good for me too!
