A Week in the Ozarks

We finalized our spring break vacation plans, oh, I don't know, about a week before we left. We got a condo in the Ozark Mountains, which I had never really considered but we were kinda pressed by availability at that point. None of us had ever been there, and after spending a week there, I can say that we will definitely be back!

We had the most beautiful weather the whole week. Sunny, hot, with no humidity. We spent several afternoons wading into this river and throwing rocks into the water. Simple.

Driving around aimlessly, we told the GPS to get us to a playground and found this gem, called Murphy Park.
Who could resist a park with the same name as our beloved doggy?!
At Branson Landing, we saw a fire and water show which was neat but hard to capture on film.
Our condo was in the building right next to the clubhouse, which was nice because the boys really got a kick out of going to the pool. Daily. Jack was content to jump in over and over and over...
...while Jason taught himself how to swim! Granted, he wears a buoyant vest but he gets around the whole pool by doing a doggy paddle. The little guy wears himself out but he is not to be helped at all.
The week went by so fast. Lo and behold, on our drive home, we went through Lebanon, Missouri, where we ran into the Easter Bunny at the local Wal-Mart. What a nice surprise!
