Jack Graduates Kindergarten
Jack's last day of school was Tuesday, June 7. Since it was a make-up snow day and for some reason one hour in school meets the make-up requirement in Illinois, Jack's teacher decided to have the kids put on a performance. Throughout the year, the kids had learned a variety of songs about numbers, colors, days of the week, etc. and at the performance the kids sang all the songs for us on stage in the school cafeteria. Each kid in his class drew a self-portrait and wrote their name, then they were scanned in and put on t-shirts. Adorable!
What Jason does to keep himself busy while waiting for Jack's class to arrive:
Most of the kids just kind of stood/sat there and went through the repertoire -- not my kid. Look at the gusto with which Jack belts out the tunes. BTW, we sat on the opposite side of the cafeteria yet still heard him sing each word loud and clear!
After the half-hour performance, each kid received a certificate. Jack was so proud! Me too!!
