Forget the Trike, Check Out My Bike!

Okay, so the kid just learned how to use the pedals of the trike, what, last month? Well, check this out...now he's riding a REAL bike, albeit with training wheels...but he's only TWO!! It never would have occurred to me to put a 2-year old on a bike, even with training wheels and a helmet. I was pretty surprised to come home from work one day and see this little Thomas the Tank Engine bike that Dennis found, but he just couldn't pass it up. I thought, okay, we'll wait a year or two...not! Jason wanted to ride it to the Kids' Clinic at Lowe's today (we made a ball and cup game), which was almost a mile. He's practically a pro now, getting over the curbs and going a little too fast for my comfort...but he's doing it! These kids never cease to amaze me.
