Jack's Birthday Party #1

We decided Jack was ready for his first "friend" party and had checked out our nearby McDonald's with a renovated Playland, which I'd say is pretty outstanding. Six of his classmates came, along with a few siblings, and by all accounts, everyone had a good time! The party started off with a parade around the restaurant. Jack got to hold all the balloons, although here is friend Madison takes the lead.

Look at this cool birthday throne. The number only goes up to twelve, so I guess I can't have my next party there.

We weren't sure if everyone would like cake so we brought a birthday cookie too.

Jason will eat anything, just put it on his plate.

What a happy guy! Look at that grin. Here, Jack opens up his first of about a dozen new monster trucks that he received between yesterday and today, going from almost nothing to a pretty good-sized collection. Fun!

Jack also received two fire trucks with lights and sounds and a movie featuring fire trucks. Jack still intends to be a firefighter when he grows up, so he was pretty excited about the fire trucks.

The kids got to crawl through the play tubes, eat, play, eat, and play a little more. We didn't have to cook or clean and got to leave a huge mess.

What a great party.

Happy birthday, little man. Love you more and more all the time!
