After a full day at work and the accompanying commute, this is what I came home to tonight:
The problem? Jack didn't want to feed the dogs and Jason wanted popcorn for dinner. What crises! The REAL problem was that neither one took a nap today -- not that Daddy didn't try to get them down -- they were just too busy pulling all the books off the shelves and toys out of their bins and ripping up their Lego magazines to bother with sleeping. What monsters.
Unbelievably, Jason fell asleep upright, with his head nestled against my neck. How sweet. I relished the moment of peace and quiet for as long as I could -- until my right leg fell asleep and I got a cramp in my foot. Sigh.
