I always enjoy going to the annual Elgin Fox Trot, it's the first 5k I ran with Jack back in 2015, and the community that comes to support and cheer on the runners is just a great experience. Yesterday was no exception. Jack met up with former teammates and coach from high school and I hung wth the moms this year on the sidelines. It was fairly cool and dry weather and Jack geared up with the same shirt he's worn for a few 5k's... don't mess with your charms!

Jack placed #7 overall of 702 racers, and took the top spot for his age group! Wow! The medal is a really nice addition to all his racing hardware. Bravo!!!
