Our view for over two hours while we waited for an accident to be cleared

We finally arrived in the town of Christmas, home of Jungle Adventures

This looks promising!

We all held William the 4 year old alligator

None of us held the skunk or tarantula that were offered up. No thanks!

Our guide fearlessly hand fed some very large alligators, who all heeded his direction to eat just one chicken piece then go back in the water! There are over 200 in this swamp.

We took a boat ride up the swamp on a very low pontoon boat that the guide had constructed himself. Gulp. I was more than a little nervous.

The swamp was super stinky and covered in duck weed. Gators love sulphuric waters.

A boardwalk surrounded fenced areas full of gators, birds, and other animals. Eek.

All in all, a pretty good day that we ended by dining at Outback Steakhouse.
