Finally, after more than two months, Jason's school figured out how to distribute what was left in students' hall and gym lockers. We pulled up to a designated entrance at the school and showed a piece of paper with his name on it and someone brought out two bags and put them on the backseat through the open window, with all of us wearing masks. Weird. Anyway, it was like Christmas because Jase had no idea what would be in there and actually had said he thought there'd be nothing but his gym shirt, which had me wondering if we should even bother... I mean, who wants a 2 month old nasty gym shirt? (Keep in mind, it was left in there on a Friday and most certainly not clean or fresh). But surprise! There was a ruler and the Star Wars baseball cap Jack had given him for Christmas, so we were very glad we made the trip. Now, as far as the gym shirt goes...
