First December Weekend

The first weekend of December was very relaxing!  We started off Saturday morning at the bank, which brings in real, live reindeer every year.  For the first time, Jason doubted whether they were real... of course they are!  Bona fide reindeer!  But he hesitated to ask their handler whether they could fly.  I think he WANTS to believe and doesn't want evidence to the contrary.

Saturday night, the boys participated in a dodge ball tournament, which is a fundraising event for their friend Liam's baseball team.  Back in January, Jack participated for the first time and his team won the whole event!  This time was Jason's turn... Liam's team had too many kids on it, so Jason was assigned to another team, which took the whole championship!  Exciting!!  Below, he shows off the gift card he won (I think he would have preferred a cool medal like Jack got).

Then, yesterday.  We were told to expect 1-3" but got just over SIX.  The boys, including Murphy, were thrilled.  We had just bought a snowball maker Saturday morning, so we put it to good use yesterday.  Below, Murphy finds something interesting buried in the snow:
