We got a great deal on a couple nights and things to do in Minneapolis, so we all played hooky on Friday and headed north, leaving at 6:30 am and arriving around 1 pm. We started off with a round of miniature golf at the Mall of America, and saw that there was almost no one at the amusement park, so we spent the rest of the afternoon there, riding coasters over and over, no waiting! It was great! Maybe we should play hooky more often.

Saturday, we went to the Crayola Experience. I wasn't too sure there would be much to interest the boys there, but the tickets were free and thankfully the guys had a really great time there! They got to design their own crayons and wrappers, make little puzzles, animate drawings, and best of all, use Color Wonder paper which we scanned and edited to create pictures that included us! Way cool!! After another round of mini golf, we closed out the day with a trip to the Water Park of America -- no pics from there because I hung out at the hot tub almost the whole time.

Today we went to The Science Museum in St Paul, and had such a good time we never made it back to the Mall of America as planned. Oh well, this museum was AMAZING; actually we only saw about half of it because we spent about four hours looking at their super-cool exhibits. We'll have to go back there sometime to see the other two floors of stuff!
