This weekend was the annual Apple Orchard Soccer Tournament in Bartlett. Jack's team, the Bears, was in it for the second year. Last year was, well, a learning experience... this year, the boys rocked it!!!!
There were eight teams, so for the two divisions of four teams, each team played the other three teams in its division. The Bears won those games 4-0, 4-0, and 4-1.

Great teamwork, passing, on-field communication... really exciting play. They easily breezed into the championship game, where they were soundly defeated 5-0. But what an effort!! The guys played so well... two moms made a point of coming over to me after the game and remarked that Jack would be named MVP if there was such an award -- of course they're totally right, he was AWESOME!! Fierce and focused!! I have to admit, I'm no soccer fan, but these guys really had me on the edge of my seat.
Bravo for making it to the championships and taking second place!
