Today both kids had their first soccer games of the season, and both scored a goal! What?! This was particularly unusual for Jack, who plays defense. He got the chance to take a penalty kick because an opponent tripped one of Jack's teammates in the box. Score!!!

Jason's on a new team this year and finally seems to have a decent coach, whose name is also Jason. Practice twice a week is really helping. Jason's goal was exciting, as he got the ball, dribbled it from about mid-field, took a shot which the goalie blocked but dropped, but Jason kept on it and took another shot, and made it! Nice focus!
