We went to visit my parents in The Villages. Grandma Rose sent the boys to Chocolate Camp for a few hours, where they got to make a chocolate pizza and chocolate-covered s'mores, Oreo cookies, and popcorn. Personally, I never would have put Swedish Fish or Skittles on my chocolate pizza, but it turned out to be pretty good! Look at those sugar-infused grins, they had a great time!
Next, the boys participated in a golf cart scavenger hunt. We had two hours to drive around (well, more like idle around!) and find stuff like train tracks, different tree leaves, coins, acorns, etc. We did pretty well, and even turned our items in a bit early to get some extra points...and ended up in second place! The boys each won a $5 prize and a ribbon, which is proudly displayed with their soccer trophies.
On Friday, we visited the local pool for a while then Jason and Grandma went to a magic show while Jack, Poppa, and I worked on a jigsaw puzzle. We had a nice visit! They are already planning our next one!!
