2015 Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work Day

Thursday was the national day to bring your kid(s) to work.  Somehow, I got roped into coordinating the event and with a lot of help, managed to get the kids access to Metra's train simulator and tickets to the Chicago Water Taxi.  Jack decided not to join us at the last minute, not because he has track and soccer practice on Thursdays, but because he wanted to hang out with his friends!  Sniff, sniff. Oh well, Jase and I had a great day without him!

At the RTA, the kids designed their own train lines.  Jason named his the E2B Express (Elgin to Bartlett).

Jason's train -- lots of bling!

At the Metra simulator.  The horn got a good workout.

We did a scavenger hunt at Union Station

We took the Water Taxi to Pioneer Square, where NFL helmets are lined up to celebrate next week's draft
