Here's a pic of the boys on Christmas morning, with all their loot from Santa. They are so good, they came and woke us up and posed for a few pictures before opening anything.
Jack with his favorite gift, a Nerf gun that he was actually saving up his allowance money to purchase just in case he didn't get it. Thanks Uncle Sean and Aunt Jenn!
And Jason with his favorite gift, a Nintendo DS game system. We'd been hearing about it for at least a year... Jack got his from Santa when he was 7, and we told Jason that he needed to be 7 to get his, because that's when kids are usually responsible enough to have such an expensive gift. So, he's been talking it up endlessly, but he actually had wanted the 3DS version, which isn't exactly what Santa left. Anyway, on Christmas Eve night, we had a discussion about probably not getting the 3D version of the system and Jason was in tears thinking he wasn't going to get it. Well, he didn't get it (as I had predicted), he got the Lite version which turned out to be just as good and he was SO very happy to get it. Whew. Thanks, Santa!
