Fall 2014 School Pictures

Look at my two handsome boys!  Jason is 7 and is technically supposed to be in first grade, but is spending almost all of his time now in second grade as the school tries to figure out where he should be on a full-time basis.  He got tested at a late third grade reading level, which finally made the school get in motion on placing him among his peers.  The move to second grade has really helped him to enjoy school although he still complains that the work is all too easy.  We'll see how his standardized tests go in early December and then explore our options for him.  Good going, buddy!

Jack is in fourth grade and is having a terrific year.  His teacher reports that he is one of her best students, always helpful and attentive, doing what he needs to be doing, and a joy to have in class.    Jack goes to enriched reading and math classes for an extra challenge, and the school library has been having trouble keeping him supplied with reading material since he is reading sixth grade level books!  Yes!  These guys are gonna go far!!
