Happy Halloween

Okay, so no one correctly guessed what the boys were this year. Jack was his favorite Transformer, Bumblebee. We couldn't find a mask so at the very last minute, I took a construction hardhat from the Elgin Public Works open house, and used some black craft paint to put on a design. He was pretty happy with it. Eh. Jason was the character Cobra from GI Joe. He was very cute, saying "thank you and happy Halloween" to everyone, holding onto people's doors until he got out the whole phrase. After only one hour and fifteen minutes, they were both done and wanted to go home, even passing up houses with people standing in the doorway with candy! Hardly comparable to the four hours of solid trick-or-treating last year. Somehow, though, they both nearly filled their pumpkin baskets.
