Snowmageddon 2011

All the predictions were right on. The last I heard, we were at 21.6" and here is the view from our garage this morning.

There were some pretty serious drifts! Some are a good 5-6' tall. Once the plows get the streets cleared, we should be pretty well buried.

Jack, bless his heart, worked very hard to help us shovel the driveway clear, although the association will send out the plows soon. We got about two-thirds of the driveway done and gave up. The snow is just too heavy.

Fortunately Dennis was scheduled to be off today, my job told us to work from home, and the kids' schools called snow days, so we are all comfy and cozy in the house. I'm making a stew in the crock pot. The sun is shining and the snow is really beautiful. All is good!
