Christmas in Tampa 2021

I found a great airfare deal and got Leni's blessing to spend Christmas with my side of the family in Tampa this year, which we had not done in forever!  We had a blast!  Some pics from our trip:

Monday 12/20:  O'Hare was a zoo

With Aunt G & Mom

Tuesday: Tampa Riverwalk

We know a good restaurant when we see one!  Delicious!!

Came across the Tampa Police Museum

At TECO, Tampa Electric Company, to look for manatees... caught some glimpses from far away

Wednesday: mini golf with Mom.  She killed us in the first nine but Jack came from behind, to unfortunately lose on the last hole to ME.

Thursday: Epcot. Amazing.

Friday: Scott gave us a tour of the Tampa Airport fire station but we weren't allowed to get on any vehicles this time

Still awesome to see!!

Saturday: Christmas Day on Tampa Bay!  Cousin Mark took us out on his awesome boat, the Reel Big Dog II.  Perfect weather, perfect everything!!  Mom provided the hats.

IHOP was basically the only open restaurant we could find.  Meh.

I think my favorite snap of the trip.  Epcot was wonderful and despite the crowds, we got on almost every ride and tasted some neat treats like poutine, buche de noel, lefse, and fried rice.
