Yesterday was national Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work Day, and again, Jason joined me at work. Jack hasn't come in a few years, mostly because he doesn't want to miss school! Jason, on the other hand, was quick to say yes. This year the RTA didn't pair up with Metra or CTA, but we had organized a pretty good day for the kids, allowing them to choose among various options as mini-sessions that presented the kids with what we do.

| Jason opted to build a railroad station out of marshmallows, skewers, and toothpicks with our Project Management Group. He also participated in a math scavenger hunt (organized by me), a Geographic Information Systems demonstration, and a behind-the-scenes tour of the RTA. |

| OK, so this caused me a lot of grief, because it's the pic that went out via a company-wide email today. However, a lot of my co-workers thought it was hysterical and I actually got a lot of compliments for Jason's spirit, smarts, and joyful attitude. |
